This is our family cottage and the second year we are renting it. If there is anything we can do to make your stay better please let us know! We want to ensure you have a relaxing getaway with your family.

Note: Starlink is the internet provider and could be impacted during bad weather.
Our cottage water comes from a well and is equipped with a UV filtering system, making it safe for all uses. For your convenience, we also have a water cooler available.
The BBQ on the lakeside deck is for your family to use. If you use the BBQ a lot, please refill the tank before you leave. The tank has a gauge to show how much propane is left.
The large mound beside the driveway is our septic system. Please keep the kiddos off the “hill”. Please only flush toilet paper, and do not pour grease down the drain.
Garbage day is Tuesday morning. Please put out garbage in the wood bin at the end of the driveway the morning of by 7:00am and raise the red flag. We have a lot of critters (big and small) that will rip a part the garbage if you put it out the night before. Garbage is a 1-bag limit per week.
Please take all garbage with you upon checking out. Garbage/recycling can also be taken to the Sauble Landfill.

There’s a landfill around 5 minutes away for garbage and recycling. During the summers it is open 7 days a week (Cash only on Sundays). You may be asked to provide your house address (15 Firth Point Court, Oliphant).
We have movies on the wall and board games in the brown hutch by the TV, which your family is more than welcome to use. Please take care, as these are our personal movies and board games.
Note: Some movies are not suitable for children. Please check ratings before watching with your family. We typically store restricted movies on the top shelves, though they may have been moved.

There is no laundry on site. The closest laundromat is the Wiarton Laundromat located at 635 Berford St, Wiarton, ON N0H 2T0. It’s open daily from 7am-9pm.
